Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage (IHM), or 'Champissage', is a type of massage which originated in India. The massage covers the whole upper back, shoulders, arms, neck, scalp and face.

IHM is a great way to relax, un-wind and to treat yourself to something special. Too often we get caught up in our fast-paced and stressful lives that we forget to have some 'me' time. IHM is such a wonderful way to stop, sit down and enjoy a relaxing and pampering experience. It's also a fantastic gift to give your loved ones for their birthday, an anniversary or just simply to treat them!

IHM lasts 40-45 minutes and it helps to get rid of toxins from tense muscles, to improve circulation and to get oxygen to the brain. It may benefit those who suffer from, for example, stress, headaches, insomnia, sinusitis, jaw ache, hair loss and common aches and pains. I allow an hour for the appointment to give me time to fill in a client form and to give you time to come round and have a drink of water before you leave.
During the treatment you are fully clothed and seated, and no oil is used (unless you specifically ask for it). Please arrive at your appointment with clean hair, and if possible, with no hair styling products like hairspray or wax.
